“With a 1 to 1 laptop to student ratio, each child enrolled in Prime Prep Academy can enjoy a classroom environment that exposes them to cutting edge technology—What this means to our students is powerful because they are learning the educational content and gaining the skills necessary to be productive in a 21st century learning and professional environment."
“Heartwood’s biggest commodity is helping students achieve their goals…The academy is now expanding into the 21st Century by offering students in grades 1-12 a new choice in learning. Our teachers are looking forward to reaching out and helping students attain their educational goals through the use of technology and interaction with live support instruction. All courses are aligned with Common Core and state standards. Heartwood’s Online Program will benefit a variety of students including those who are in need of credit recovery, wanting accelerated courses (AP) to earn college credits, homeschoolers looking for teacher based instruction online, those who are on medical leave from school, and whose families are not year round residents at one address.”
"We view VSCHOOLZ as the logical evolution in the distribution of information and content to students and teachers. SCIENCE SCREEN REPORT has been changing
with the times for 42 years and we are thrilled to partner with an organization that has their finger on the pulse of U.S. education."
"We've been pleased to watch the partnership grow as VSCHOOLZ meets the critical need for high-quality, engaging language learning courses to students outside the
traditional environment. Together, we're working to solve the evolving needs of the secondary market to fit within the growing niche of online courses."
"All of us at Pflaum are excited and enthusiastic about our partnership with VSCHOOLZ. We see this digital delivery and use of the Pflaum Gospel Weeklies Faith Formation
Program as a giant step into the future. The platform provided by VSCHOOLZ and the content developed by the authors of the Weeklies will give tens of thousands of
Catholic children a chance to experience a complete, child-friendly, dynamic, and affordable catechesis in the same interactive ways they experience other subjects."
"The decision to develop a new program is to provide students with a more flexible learning environment and to offer students who have dropped out or who do not do
well in a regular school setting another option in getting an education. I believe that VSCHOOLZ virtual program offers the curriculum needed in particular for rural schools students to excel in this high tech-global system. We want our students to be prepared to go on to the next level of education and be able to compete. We are very proud to partner with VSCHOOLZ."
"Our mission is to provide world class opportunities for learning. We have spent considerable time and resources exploring various options for a learning management
system and other technologies. We not only wanted a system that was technically and pedagogically efficient, we also needed to work with an organization that took the time to understand our specific needs in the region, and adjust their model accordingly, not just throw out a cookie cutter solution. VSCHOOLZ met then exceeded our criteria. We move forward with the confidence in a partnership which can deliver real value to Caribbean schools, teachers, and students."
"VSCHOOLZ is a great partner for us because together we can help educators find valuable resources, organize them visually for their students, and tag them to common
core standards for a complete learning management system or personal learning environment."
"VSCHOOLZ's decision to use AP journalism to create educational products, in Spanish and English, is innovative and reflects AP's reputation for accuracy and independence. VSCHOOLZ will have access to AP's constant stream of video, text stories, graphics, multimedia and more than 11 million new and archival photographs in AP Images. It is an exciting partnership in virtual education."
“We are a small school, and are trying out virtual education for this year. Our intention is to expand next year for all of the 7th and 8th grades. This will allow us to offer the middle school grades in a cost-effective manner. I’m finding our students are working very well in the virtual environment. They are able to delve deeper into the subject matter, and in the case of the eighth grader, are able to earn high school credit in Psychology and Biology. They are also able to time-shift their classes somewhat, in order to participate in school-wide activities without the penalty of getting behind in their work.
I’m finding that my students are more engaged, contributing more by using the discussion boards. They are ‘owning’ their work more than previously, engaging their teachers quite often. As I mentioned earlier, I’ve got one student earning high school credit, so I’m experiencing a definite positive impact in their performance. Please feel free to contact me at any time to discuss our experience further.”
